Description
Filament Yarn Silica Braided Sleeving is silica tubing intended for use in high temperature applications as protection against weld splatter, fire, extreme heat and molten metal. Silica Braided Sleeving can withstand molten metal temperatures and equipment at continuous temperatures up to 1,100°C.
Silica Sleeving has a flexible weave that assures a “tight fit” over pipe, cable, hose, cord and tubing. Silica Sleeving is used as thermal protection or insulation over: electrical cables, power cords, water hoses, tubing and pipe. Silica sleeving is used extensively by the Power Generation, Refinery, Construction, Shipbuilding, Welding and Metal Processing Industries.
